But many people still struggle to identify the symptoms of traumatic brain injury (TBI), which can be different depending on the severity of the injury and age of the injured.
We’ve been rooting for comedian Tracy Morgan’s continued recovery since he was critically injured in a fatal car accident in June 2014. So like many fans, we were heartened when just over a year after his crash, Morgan took the stage on Saturday Night Live in a triumphant return to the work he loves.

After surviving a deadly 2014 car accident, Morgan endured months of rehabilitation for broken ribs, a broken leg, broken nose, and traumatic brain injury. Fellow comic Jimmy McNair wasn’t so lucky; he was killed in the crash, while several other passengers suffered life-changing injuries.
